This poll is probably most of interest to paper and dice roleplayers, but everyone should play. I'm curious to see just how many dice it's (a)typical for people to own.

Shiny. It's mostly the "watch your back" I'm having some difficulty with. Not so much as a phrase, but getting the right idiom for it.

The rest is pretty easy; 'deal with' is a fairly common idiom, and 'conserve ammo' should do nicely as a (nearly-)literal translation. I just can't remember "watch your back" ever being used in Kommissar Rex.

Yes. Whereas 'watch your back'... actually, being as the phenomenon of backstabbing is probably universal there should be a relatively easy equivalent. I suppose the hard part is figuring out what.

I can find a "be on guard", but nothing really back-watching.

There's only one way to fix a lack of gaming experience. I'm just not sure that's the right side of the table to be doing it from. Are the other players good?

I'm fairly sure that's not the right side of the table to be doing it from. The boy and I are pretty good, other than that, I haven't met the other players. There is some 'ulp'ing going on.
