This poll is probably most of interest to paper and dice roleplayers, but everyone should play. I'm curious to see just how many dice it's (a)typical for people to own.

Feel free to link or repost this poll in your own journals (by pasting "<lj-poll-1356329>" into an entry where you'd like it to appear), as more data makes the results betterer.

i haven't played since i was in college, and my dice are packed away right now, so my memory may be a little fuzzy...

4 normal poly sets (they were bought together as a set, all the same pattern etc)
enough random polys to make about 3 more sets
a mini poly set
a set of weird 'crystal' shaped polys
enough D10 and D10*10s to kill a vampire... uh, i mean run a WW game where all the players keep forgetting their dice
and the same with D6s (not counting the at least 2 D6 in each poly set)

Like these? I can't imagine those would work at all well.

yep,
and yeah, they don't work very well, but they are pretty, so i keep them around just for show.

They roll OK, but are much more prone to the "fall off the table" effect; particularly the D20, since it's heading for cylindrical.

Somebody brought a set to a game and we pretty much banned him from using them after the fourth time he had to roll again.
