So, there was a Labor caucus vote. Result? Beazley and Macklin out, Rudd and Gillard in (but in the wrong order, methinks).

And so, icon.

I think the problem is that the electorate still sucks, so Rudd and Gillard brings a better chance of being elected than Gillard and Rudd. Which is utterly stupid, but that's what happens when you have a country where everyone gets to vote.
