So, I'm going to play with a half-remembered commentspam meme.

The Half-Remembered Commentspam Meme!

The way this works, as best I recall is that:
  1. I make a new post in my journal. Oh, hey, here's one. Whee.
  2. You comment on the entry with pretty much anything that won't upset the rest of my flist. We're nice people here.
  3. You comment on the comments to the entry.
  4. The comments can be as lucid or as pointless as you like.
  5. The entry gets immensely commentspammed. Go mad. I have Gmail.
  6. Fun is had by all.
  7. Those who desire may repost the Half-Remembered Commentspam Meme!™. They can then get their own original commentspam on their own memetic entries. It is absolutely essential that they respect my wishes.
And that's about it for the Half-Remembered Commentspam Meme!™, which, I suppose, may also be written as Commentspam! At The LJ, if you're so inclined.

How are you going with becoming a library wiz? Are you on holidays now, or are there still exams/assignments to be done?

Its 106 miles to Chicago. We have a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

I do not allow sunglasses.

The lenses are copyrighted. It upsets me terribly to even think about fashion statements with my sunglasses. I advise my readers to make your own original fashion statements with your own eyewear.

It is absolutely essential that you respect my wishes.

There's random and then there's Anne Rice. You win. I can not out weird Anne Rice, nor people in sunglasses channelling Anne Rice's spirit. Please refrain from writing any books. Please. Think of the children.

People don't seem to find my writing quite that scary.

Um... I think.

But, yes. I've been mocking Anne Rice for longer than I can comfortably remember. I even have a special icon for doing it, but it's trapped with all the other icons I can't use now that my paid time has lapsed.

I am dogsitting for five days and before long there will be dog hair on everything I own - even the things that are not currently here at the house with the dogs. *sigh*

There's a significant upside to that, though. Puppy. In my experience, dogs make the world feel better.

Thanks kindly, but no luck required. Just a leetle bit of typing (and, really, this one will pass so long as it's actually done) and then it's all over for the year.

And then, I get to see if I get home in time for the Glass House.

See, I'm not a big dog person, though. I am very much a cat person. I can tolerate dogs, I can take care of dogs, I can play with them and laugh at their antics, but I don't actually like them. And these dogs are both up past my hips while on all fours. Granted, I'm fairly short, but that's still a big dog. And they are very hairy, heh. *looks in despair at her hair-covered Nethack shirt*

Oh, ok. I've always found |.d@..| to be cause for happy, but then I generally like the four-legged mostly-horizontal furry people. They generally seem to respond in kind, which probably helps.

*nod* I have many dogs that like me. In fact, yesterday afternoon I was covered in happy doggy love for about two hours in the afternoon, in the form of three extremely excited-to-see-me dogs named Trucker, Molly and Cookie Lou. It was fun, but they're all fairly large dogs as well, and it was uncomfortable. I don't know... I like them more than I used to!

Even better! I've gotten used to wishing law-student friends luck with exams, even though I only had essays for the last two years of uni. Happy typing, then! (or whatever is the appropriate well-wishing phrase :P...)

*rebellious muttering over cancellation*

yay

omg like total randomness. totally.

I'm a friend of [livejournal.com profile] shaysdays. I'm at work and bored; naturally, I'm amusing myself by lurking around my friend's friends' journals.

You have a QC icon, which makes you almost as cool as I am. (kidding)

You have Thief (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thief_(computer_game)) listed as an interest, which makes you almost as geeky as I am. (kidding, but not as much)

Therefore, I added you to my pitifully short friends list. Yay!

PS - Is it just me, or has everyone decided to disregard number three of the meme? I was debating on commenting on every single comment, but thought it might be bad form, seeing as no one else did.
