I do not read it voluntarily. However, as with any train wreck, there are flying fragments and no passerby is safe.

(Normally I don't care what people think of me, but I draw the line at having even the most inconsequential of strangers believe I read Fanfic, especially of the sort that involves HP and sex.)

But, yes. I can understand not wanting people to think you read HP sexfic. Even JKR, who loves fic, doesn't want HP sexfic.
