(no subject)

I'm still trying to get back to the daily entry thing, but it's not working so well just yet. So, I have these two newsitems to offer:

Item the first is that I have a copy of Finding Serenity on order, yey. The bad news is that it took a week for their distributor's rep to turn up. The good news is that those orders were in last week. The bad news is that their rep didn't get my order for Finding Serenity. The good news is that it should be in on Wednesday.

Hopefully.

Item the second is my newfound observation that, if a single window is open on a bus, regardless of where (a) it is and (b) you are, the air - typically cold - coming through it will always find and attack you, make life rather less warm than you'd like, and make a mess of your hair. Discuss.

Item the second: YES. Occasionally it will also blow some grit in your eye. There is probably a secret society of window-openers.

And don't talk to me about my hair in the wind. Public transport - it's a neverending war.

My hair cannot even withstand a gentle breeze while walking. Actually, it can't withstand any weather phenomenon, period. Clippies and rubber bands are my best friends.
