I don't have any notes for today's entry, because we already know the things on my mind.
Most of them have some kind of involvement with books, literacy and the written word.
In less than an hour, it'll be the first of February - not that this matters by itself. Instead, the march of the clock and the calendar dictate that it's less than an hour from a day when Things happen.
Tomorrow is the day that I go to buy myself a book with 'Oxford' written in many spots on the cover; an abridged version of what aims to be the list of every English word. For some odd reason, this excites me some.
Tomorrow is the day that I start reading a book that's sitting ten inches away from me, the start of a series read by countless others and the start of a reasonably special fandom project. It's exciting in that I want to see it work. It's partly because it's something that I've never done before, and partly because I want to see if other people will like Nix as much as I (and some of my flistees) do.
The one that demands the most attention is that in a bit over 18 hours, I go to see if I can enroll for this Advanced Diploma in Library and Information Services. This one's all manner of exciting, in much the same way as the night before my school year's university offers, some years ago.
Squeeish excitement? We'll see tomorrow.
