It was supposed to be in this entry.

EDIT: Apparently, syndicating a feed from LJ isn't allowed. If you can imagine a way around this, please do feel free to comment.

As one of the lurkers who doesn't have you friended, I have to say that I really shouldn't be considered in the final tally--I just read your feed through my RSS reader, and I'm quite content with that.

(Yay, Google Reader!)

I'm one of those who doesn't have you friended for other reasons, those reasons being "the idea of declaring a near-stranger to be a 'friend' is still odd even after acknowledging that 'friend' does not mean friend in this context".

Oh, and because I never look at my friends page; I read everyone's blogs with Firefox tabs.

Shiny. I'm happy so long as everyone has a comfortable way of reading the things they want to read. :)

And I'm happy so long as I have things I want to read. I'm sure I've the better end of the bargain. ^_^

I doubt it... but then, this just means that the bargain works. :D

No idea how to get around the you can't syndicate...

Feedburner. Durn the atom feed into an rss feed at feedburner, then syndicate the feedburner feed; I've syndicated enough feedburner feeds to know it accepts them, not sure why.

As for not friending people if oyu don't want them tor ead your posts? Do people not know how to use custom filters? Honestly.

Having said that, I just read the Serenity in 300 thing by clicking your tags. a) my answers will be out of date once I get to the userinfo page b) I think I may need to learn S2, that cascading tag list is tres nifty.

I imagine some people don't. Not that it matters now, because it'd be used by a whole 0 people. :)

Have a look at the taglist in IE; that should show you much better how it's actually *made* - they're just nested lists, and a function borrowed from [livejournal.com profile] s2_flexisquares.

I've seen the CSS trick before, [livejournal.com profile] devils_kitchen mentioned them when he redid his blogger template (again), figured that was how it was done, but cool nonetheless. There's a rumour that IE7 may actually work properly.

Like all rumours, I'll believe it when someone else demonstrates it to me, odds of installing that on my machine diminish rapidly...
