I washed the floors. Murphy broke in. I cleaned, I dusted, and I wrote the worst Sue of my life.

And that's about it, really.

The highlight, I suppose, is that I've read the first part of Jonathan Stroud's The Amulet of Samarkand. It is, in a word, brilliant - I'm greatly enjoying it - and [livejournal.com profile] fireyfox leads me to believe that the Bartimaeus trilogy just gets better from there.

I shall yay pre-emptively.

Yay!

I didn't say this was a BAD thing. Or rather, that it was a bad sort of bad thing. It's a good sort of bad thing. Or maybe a bad sort of good thing. Or... damn.

YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!!! *hides*

I idn't say you did. I just meant to say that I like when a purveyor of fiction will tell the story, even if that does mean that bad things can happen to the characters.

OMGprecious worlds and characters weary me. So, yes, I do know what you mean. And I could've better phrased what I mean.

*seeks*

*laughs* It's okay, I speak fluent typo.

I totally didn't realise I sounded like I was yelling there. I was just being... well... a hyperactive book-tyrant.

*hugs* Sorry if I sent the wrong message...

Typo should be an official lnguage.

I think it was a perfectly happy and friendly conversation, and now we're just being overly fussy about how we may have sounded to the other. Which is silly, and amusing, but ultimately ends up in a whole thread of 'sorry'.

*hugs* Your message is good, and shiny, and right. And, I think, the same as mine.
