And I really do plan to keep the post-a-day thing happening.
So! News...
The first of the writing thingies for my presently-unnamed project is up. It's shorter than I'd have liked, and different to what I originally had in mind, but I wasn't expecting the first one to be any kind of brilliant. The good news is, things can only really improve - the others, by virtue of being enqueued, have a little more time for ideas to develop.
And, on the subject, if you can suggest a name for the project I'll be all kinds of interested.
Next order of newsness is that my parents have somehow managed to grow the biggest zucchini I've ever seen. Two feet long and four inches in diameter, it's enough to turn jokes about produce as sex toys into horror of Lovecraftian proportions. I felt safer the moment the knife got to it, and safer still when I left their house of scarily huge foodstuffs.
Lastly, I've had yet another spider visit. It was smaller than the last two - something of a relief, since they were the kind of spider likely to put a cup over you and put you outside - and happily took a trip out on the end of a broom. The far end of a broom. I think I might find a longer broom to buy, just so that I can be further away from spiders on the other end of it.
And that's about it for the moment. *clicks Post*
