I need to find a good reason why my cupboards conspire such that, when I need to buy tea, I also need to buy crumpets.

It'll be going soon-ish. Offhand, there's not a hge amount more that needs doing beforehand - but I think it'll be nice to wait for the NaNoFolk to get back to normal before doing too much more.

Er. Thanks for reminding me, I am a NaNoFolk :P I'm just not entertaining any hope of finishing it in time - maybe in a few years when I have some motivation and stuff. Also, it turns out starting from scratch on the first day works for short stories but not for novels. When I do eventually finish this it will need a complete rewrite or three.
