This is really very fun. The average time between posting and being metaquoted seems to be decreasing.

Current estimates suggest that sometime next month, I may have to start reading metaquotes to see what I'm about to post. The biggest supershiny benefit to this is that it'll save me from ever making typos or silly HTML mistakes ever again.

Should we request a new LJ tag? Maybe <lj-paradox>? It'd be versatile - type="temporal", type="logical", type="falsidical"*, or even more specific things - paradox="diamond-water"†, for example.

* If someone has a usable definition for 'falsidical', it's going to be my word of the day for the next 23 hours. *glances hopefully at lietya*
† An economic paradox. Water is cheaper than diamonds, but we don't need diamonds to survive.

Brilliant idea.

As an aside, I like your Marvin Snape Reynolds icon much better now that I actually get it (well, to the extent that it can be 'gotten', to wit, that I've now seen Firefly and know to whom you are referring, although the concept of Marvin as Mal makes my brain melt a little and then go splodey, so maybe I don't 100% 'get' it... but you know what I mean).

Marvin and Mal are nothing alike. I just wanted to edit my icon to wear a brown coat.

I'm definitely leaning towards Marvin Eppes for november. Maybe for having a brain the size of a planet.

You'll have to go back to Marvin Snape for December, then, because the Goblet of Fire movie is being released on the 1st.
