Firefly Roleplay Thingies

Allo, all. Just a merry little bit of advertising for you.

apathy_games has two spaces left (kind of, anyway; more than two and you'll be sharing quarters), preferably for fightin' types. Those taking exception to the thought should likely consider that fightin' types in the Fireflyverse are somewhat more interesting - Zoe and Jayne are far from being two-dimensional nonentities laden with guns and knives.

Secondly, crzydemona has a Firefly RP starting up for those who like the 'verse, but maybe not the idea of rules somewhere inside. There's a whole heap of spaces open. These are:

So, those looking to do some roleplaying in the Fireflyverse have no excuse at all. If you have questions about either, then there's no kind of problem with you asking them here.

To be perfectly honest, there are a number of reasons why I won't be joining. Firstly, I'm not big on online roleplaying. Tabletop, yes, but I'm just not good at online stuff. Secondly, I could join now, but I can't make the committment for all of November because of NaNo, so I really don't want to leave you in the lurch. And thirdly, I don't feel I know the 'verse well enough yet to confidently play in it. Hell, I'm not even writing fanfic for it (again: yet), and that tends to be the main indicator of how confident I am that I know things well enough to involve myself.

I joined before even seeing a single episode of Firefly.

One doesn't need to properly know the 'verse to play in it. One needs only know enough to make do, and learn the rest as you go.
