It's the world not really famous "Five Ways I'm a Dork" meme! And so, with a minimum of further ado,
I'm not going to tag anyone. If you want to, do it. I'll... um... I'll write fun comments if you do!
- I've been known to spend hours painstakingly editing, redrawing, filling in, tweaking, extracting and colour-balancing bits of static images to turn them into mildly tricky animations. The best example of this to-date, however, can't be shown yet. At least three people want to use it, and two of them aren't me.
- I use a range of moderately tricky HTML and styles. For fun. In fact, Mozilla users, this very layout is powered by a little-known bit of CSS1. I have a dead-tree CSS book now, but I use the W3C spec for an XHTML reference.
- I can send email and read webpages with telnet. Of course, I can't give you a reason why I'd ever want to. But I can. So, yeah.
- My memesheepage happens at 3am. That has to say something. Or severall somethings. Alll the voices are saying little somethings.
I think it's "Leave. Us. Alone!" - I don't really like five-item lists. Three or seven list items is much, much nicer for me.

Date: 2005-07-22 07:08 am (UTC)Telnet's a computer thingy whose explanation defies me right at the moment. If you've ever used a command-line, like DOS, then imagine that over a network to another computer.
Ah-ha! That's why you don't like Jayne! He makes the crew an odd number, and you like the other eight.
