I had just had the game I'd been playing for a few hours crash. So I decided to quickly check LJ before logging back in. At 10.55
I got an email from support saying they'd fixed my lost userpic (they hadn't), and nothing would open. So I checked Status, and DownForEveryone , then I twittered. Status updated about 4 minutes later.
Norty LJ not updating Status first.
I was bothered as mine is one of the UK ISPs that's censoring Wikipedia, and that just gives blank pages, which would Really Not Be Good. At All.
Ah well, I can instead bitch at the whingers in lj_design instead. "You've made all these changes that users have asked for, and I don't like them so you're obviously not listening to anyone and I want to throw my toys out the pram" FFS.
