At about 4:00PM AEST today, [livejournal.com profile] daphyn became Equal Most Awesomest Person Ever, and a second recipient of the Official *Hugs*. Should you see [livejournal.com profile] daphyn, you should give her hugs, or tasty fruity things like black cherries and fresh raspberries - concurrently or consecutively. If you see both [livejournal.com profile] daphyn and [livejournal.com profile] lesslikeyou in the same spot, then you should hug both repeatedly, surrender any cookies and tasty fruity things you may be carrying, and abduct Chen (as seen in icon) to make inventive desserts for them.

Today sees a further encore of the Xander Snoopydance, likely followed by excitement, jubilation and faint lightheadedness. There may be a presentation of Gold Stars of Awesomeniftyness once I come to.

In other (not-as-important) news, there was a leaflet delivered today advertising a range of short skills courses. One of them was a $130 six-week course on LiveJournal. Let me repeat that: a six-week course on LJ. I think the first week covers posting and commenting, and then there's modules for all the important things - Friending, Flaming, Angsty Poetry, Slash and Wank. At the end there's a short exam, kinda like:
  1. my hed is ________ on yay:
    1. postede
    2. pasted
    3. pastede
    4. slashede
  2. ___ racecar bling bling:
    1. OMG
    2. ZOMG
    3. OMGWTFBBQ
    4. LOL
  3. Wank is to fandom as slash is to:
    1. Star Wars
    2. The Johns
    3. HP
    4. All of the above
  4. Cut for:
    1. offensiveness
    2. sex
    3. swearing
    4. more comments
  5. The pencil is:
    1. orange
    2. grey
    3. blue
    4. There is no pencil

*blushes*

I can't eat cookies though; I prefer black cherries and fresh raspberries. But people are much less likely to be carrying those around. So I'll allow [livejournal.com profile] lesslikeyou to accept all cookies on my behalf.

Hugs, however, are another story. I am in no way, shape, or form allergic to hugs. At least as far as I know, and should I come across such knowledge, I will proceed to ignore it.

*has guess* Gluten?

Fruity things are also good, and I shall amend the post for your safety. *nods solemnly*

Hugs should be safe, and most people carry the necessary equipment about with them. *nods* If hugging is found to be dangerous, I vote we all die happy.

Gluten, soy, dairy, potatoes, corn, nuts, some meats, most fruits (especially citrus), a few vegetables, pollen, animals, wool, latex, perfume, nickel, and, at times, myself. I also have what is possibly some sort of epilepsy (this is a new development, you heard it here first!) and what may or may not be fibromyalgia...but as I have no health insurance, we have no way of knowing for sure *sigh*

And thank you for the post amendment. It is much appreciated.

Hugs should indeed be safe. The only problem I've EVER had with them is that some people don't know how to give them without squishing my unfortunately delicate ribs...[livejournal.com profile] lesslikeyou gives the best hugs EVER. They're tight enough to make you feel that she actually cares, while not tight enough to hurt :D

That's... quite a list. It now sucks even more that the US doesn't believe in proper, public healthcare.

Now all we need is for [livejournal.com profile] lesslikeyou to give your hugs a supremelysuperglowing review, and I'll have to start saving frantically for the hugging goodness.

I agree. I'm seriously considering (for many, many reasons) moving to Canada. One of them is healthcare. And my list...normally, instead of listing things, I just say I'm allergic to everything. 'Cause it's not far from the truth. Luckily, none of them are life-threatening. Except wheat and rice, 'cause they make me dizzy and distracted, and I've been known to walk across streets without noticing whether the light is green or not.

I'm not sure how much she liked my hugs, heh...I tend to be extremely generous with them, and she's not always the huggiest person.

*thinks* I wonder how one would send a temporary hug overseas?

I DO like your hugs - but you're so random with them! They'd catch me off guard, that's all. :)

*giggle* I hug whenever I think you deserve to be hugged. Which is most of the time. You'd be surprised at how many times I restrained myself!

Well, start savin, lady, cuz you're coming to the US of A.

She gets this little glowy look about her face and then she just... kinda... pounces. It's awesome. And quite shocking!

Although I did kinda attack her at the airport, but that's a different story.

That's ok. I like different stories.

Oh, and rice! Can't forget the rice. White rice is a SERIOUS no-no for me. Brown rice seems to be fine, but white rice is terrible.
