Good News Week is coming back!

Wikipedia (and the Daily Terrograph) seem to suggest that it's Ten's way of saying OMGWTFWGA, but still. Good News Week! Truly, this is joyous news.

According to a source in contact with the production company, the first episode will be taped on the 9th of February and aired on the 11th. The 11th!

I heard it here first - and thank you for that! I shall go forth and spread the good news: amen.

For no apparent reason, I re-read my old GNW books the other day ($1 book sales: thankyou) and quietly bemoaned the loss of GNW. And now it will be back! I don't care if it is an upyours to the WGA, as long as I gets me some GNW crack.

My GNW books were full-price and new when I bought them, and now I can't seem to find them. Woe!

And... I don't really think it's anything against the WGA so much as a sudden "OMGWTFLOCALCONTENT! We're going to need to make TV shows! QUICK! What's good that we've cancelled but still have the rights for?"

(And yet, somehow, I don't think they'll be truly desperate until they're reviving things like Don't Forget Your Toothbrush)

I would love it so if they got him on GNW. Wonder if that'll ever happen, though... but maybe they could get Rich to come back. That made me very, very happy. :D

Does anyone know anything about who the team captains will be? I suspect that Mikey and Julie have moved on, and they would need to find new captains (not based on any source, just my gut feelings).
