Am I the only one who, when some kind of bug lands on the monitor, tries to scare it off by just scrolling really, really fast?

I move my mouse under it a lot to see if it'll move. >_>

That's what I try if when the scrolling doesn't work.

Does it work?

No, but I still try it anyway - and, sometimes, three or four times with the same bug, before trying something more reliable like flailing near it with a bookmark or a little plush toy or something.

I've tried it, but it doesn't seem to work too well.

Now I have a mental image of, well, mental ninjas, and it's... strangely entertaining, actually. :D

Scrolling really fast doesn't work very well on my primary computer (a laptop), so I've never tried it.
