In other news, I have three music!quiz memes that demand answers - translated songs, misheard lyrics and the first line one. My sense of neatness and tidiness would really, really like to see my incredibly intelligent list of friends, fangirls, lovers, stalkers and comrades apply their vast musical knowledge to getting the answers.

For the benefit of a few newly-acquired Australian readers, your TV needs to be on the ABC for about an hour and a half from 20:30 tonight. If you already follow this sage advice, then you know why. If you don't, then you'll thank me later.

And I think I might go and bake a cake shortly, and do a lot of other stuff that I've been putting off for hours now.

If Spicks and Specks isn't picked up for another season I will poison all the sandwiches in the ABC cafeteria.

"Everywhere"

Because you bloody well are.

They spend 8c of my money each day on a cafeteria? With sandwiches?

Well, when they were out in the back of beyond (not Ultimo, t'other place), and my sister went there for work experience type stuff, they did. It was a fairly crap cafeteria. I bet the people at Channel Seven or Channel Nine never had to put up with fake-woodgrain tables.

But then everyone knows the quality of your cafeteria is inversely proportional to the quality of your programming ; )

I can just imagine the poor, unfortunate Seven staff whinging on Today Tonight about how they have to deal with fake woodgrain. It'd go with their hard-hitting mind-numbing journalism pretend-reporting about such vital news as old people who don't inform Centrelink of their living arrangements, or four-wheel drivers upset about being accused of compensating.

And... rowr. A saucer of public-broadcast-supporting milk for you. :)

Awwww, but the cafe people at Gore Hill were NICE! (You did mean Gore Hill, right? Next to the TAFE, the hospital and the... waste treatment plant?)

I'm fairly impressed by some of that.

TAFE near waste plant, um, ok. Makes some sense.

ABC near TAFE. Makes much sense.

TAFE near hospital. Most sensible thing ever.

Hospital near waste plant... um...

Don't worry, it's in that order - waste plant, ABC, TAFE, hospital.

Oh, wait. If you go at an angle and not straight along the highway - waste plant, ABC, TAFE, cemetary, hospital. That's good for your confidence!

Why's the ABC near the cemetary? Are they planning to headhunt some of Seven and Nine's new 'talent'?

I have no idea. I'm just more worried that it's next door to the HOSPITAL...

What would be worse is if there were pre-dug graves, and a large metal chute attached to the side of the hospital.

"We're sorry. We did all we could. Would you like to give him a little push?"

*cringe* Uh... please don't say that... (my grandfather's doing to die some time in the next two days >.< And yes, he's in that hospital...)

I do, too. Actually, I happen to have some melty chocolate on my dresser... hmm.

And now I sense that there's significantly less chocolate there.

There is. And my roommate and I now wear chocolate-induced grins.

By the way, I <3 that icon. What is the font you used?

From: [identity profile] active-apathy.livejournal.com
It's called "Celtic Garamond the 2nd", and I quite like it too.

I sense you're going to look for a copy of the font, or ask me to email it to you.

...Will you email me that font?

I see you receiving an email, with an attachment.
