Music Quiz Meme (35/40 solved, 8/40 lines)

Nicked from ryttu3k, tweaked to suit my eeeevil purposes. Please note, there's two unsolved songs in this one, and there's four of these songs left.

The original instructions were these:
Get playlist. Shuffle playlist. Play thirty songs. Post first lines. Get flist to guess songs and artists. Rinse. Repeat.

My monstrously warped version has forty songs. The first twenty use the first line, the second twenty use a line from anywhere in the song (which may include the start). Your mission, once you choose to accept it, is to name the artist and the title, and post the next line. Or post bits and pieces, and you can share credit. If you want to 'sing' the whole thing in the comments, I don't mind. Sample line from solved ones shown in square brackets [].
