I woke up this morning to hear a radio ad for what sounded like Pasdar cushions. I have no idea what a Pasdar cushion is, but they do sound somewhat interesting. Presumably, they have a range of covers which at the very least includes covered, half-covered, uncovered, uncovered and airborne, and some kind of cushion!drag.
In other news, since Tuesdays make movies cheap, I've now seen film!OotP. It was... well, I mostly liked it.
Visually, it's good and bad - the wide-angle shots work nicely, I'm over the blue filters, Umbridge is scarily pink, and the pretty didn't seem overdone. Except the newspaper thing, which mostly just reminded me of Tommy.
(That magical scar kid/sure plays a mean quidditch?)
Musically, they seem to have recovered from that form slump with film!GoF. John Williams: happy place. Patrick Doyle: rather disappointing. Nicholas Hooper: happy place! And he's signed for film!HBP, which is, I think, a Good Thing.
As far as story goes, well, they told it, and maybe it could've been better, but there's many, many ways it could've been done worse. (I enter into evidence film!GoF)
So, yay. Of course, everyone else in the known universe has already seen it twice, so my opinions are mostly here for, well, something. I might decide later.
And, lastly, the memethingy I did daaays ago:
