Mmm, posts. Posts are fun. This one is out on its own mostly because I wanted to keep the other one focused on the nebulous and slippery subject of EllJay science.

shaysdays: your zero-gravity sex is In Progress. I have about six hundred-ish words so far, and everyone's still got their clothes on, but I'm pretty sure I know how it's going to go from here. The two biggest issues with writing it have been resolved, so all is good.

deepfishy: your story comes after that one. I have an outline somewhere, and my outline was shiny, and I'll find it and do stuff with it soon.

(Also, I may need to check and make sure I still have my Tales by Request post template.)

Those waiting for icons: I really will do it eventually. Seriously. I may find myself in a more icon-ish mood in a week or so, when I prod EllJay with moneystuffs to make them give my extra userpics back.

Um... undirected: My dictionary puzzles me sometimes. There's a headword for 'Kath', as a shortened form of 'Kathleen Mavourneen', which is apparently a colloquialism for a prison sentence. If someone would care to explain to me just how this works in a sensible universe, I'd happily welcome their expository ramblings.

Likely not rhyming slang, but someone might've decided it sounded like a sentence of transportation, because yay cultural biases. (And then, of course, the convicts made iocaine poweder)

Maybe it's the "it may be for years, and it may be for ever." bit which suggests prison? (I kinda wish it *were* rhyming slang, just for the fun of it...)

It kind of does, though less so than something like Over the Hills and Far Away (the Gary Moore one, which is also the Nightwish or Thyrfing one) or Back Home In Derry, which is a little with the facestabby obvious, but hey.
