Thanks to crackedwraith, I've discovered an intriguing online game called NationStates, which lets you create and manage your own country.

It's fun. No, really. Go and have a look. I'll wait.

We've even got a new region; it's called Blue Sun, after the most mysterious company in the 'verse. The place even has more intrigue and enigma than Wolfram and Hart, but I digress. There's a comm for the region, and it can be found at blue_sun_region.

In other news, 25% of the communities I'm in are now mine. Mine is an evil laugh.

Not my fault, it went like that itself! XD Okay, so I'm crap at managing the economy. This game is SO limited.

The models it's based on need a certain level of simplicity to work effectively and efficiently. That, and it tends to make whatever you do much more extreme.

I used to be a part of that.. I was voted into the position as.. whatever it was that was "in charge" of a region... but then some bitch got more votes than I, kicked me out of office and banned me from the region. wtf.

Oh. That's a little unfriendly, and the ban bit's a lot against the AUP.

Um... Join again. Play. And should some upstart come along and kick folk out, their powers can be taken away with a click and then we can plot their downfall on LJ.
