So, just before coming online, I happened to see - by accident - a few seconds of the remade The Italian Job. And I may well be scarred for life.

In those few seconds, Seth Green smiled. Seth. Green. SMILED.

Oz had an expression. My world, it is unmade.

Icon.

(I am also aggrieved by the thought that there *is* a remake of The Italian Job. As compared to, say, The Maltese Falcon, which actually needs it.)

It's been years since I saw The Maltese Falcon, and not all of it by accident.

If nothing else, it'd make a pretty good excuse for them to dress up their star-types of choice in the proper late 40s clothes. But who would they hire to be Bogart being the same as in all his other movies Sam Spade?

We, um, own that one. (Hey- Charlize Theron. What can I say?) Give me an idea of what point it takes place in the film- not sure I can take an endless quantity of Snarky Snark Wahlberg- and I'll screencap it for ya.

They're in a boat in what looks like a Venetian canal. I think something happens with a gate. Does that help?

I think so. That sounds like the OMGWTFLUKEIAMYOURFATHERSPOILERALERT scene after they blow the safe and escape through the catacombs.

I'll root around later and see what I can find.

Somebody who looks rather pleasantly like a blond Satan, as per instructions. Beyond that, someone who can nail the part over someone who looks pretteh.

(I have a terrible memory for actors when participating in casting threads)

(And have you seen the latest promo for the Dresden Files?)

Eeeeeee! The effects look incredible, he looks a perfect Mr Dresden, and I'm sure I'll get used to their Murphy.

I think this is what you want; you can have a bigger smile from a nano earlier, but the eyes are more closed for that:

It's still documentary evidence of Seth Green with an expression... except there, it looks like he's in pain. Still, thankyou kindly.

As long as they don't screw up Bob, I'll be happy...

And I hope they can sign someone appropriately terse for Mac.

Also, someone sufficiently creepy for Marcone...

I'm sure there would have to be Seth-Green-with-an-expression in the one episode of The X Files that he was in when he was just a wee Seth, pre-Ozness...

Yes, here it is. I believe the expression is 'silly stoner smile'.

It's oddly comforting that wee!Seth had expressions, but that makes his Italian Job expression no less odd.

He was the one bright point of that whole film. I love him :D

He was Oz. That earns him a lifetime supply of awesome, even if it's not quite enough to make me deliberately watch a remake of The Italian Job.

I've just finished rewatching season 3 of BtVS; I'm not sure I want to go on to season 4 yet, because it has the whole Oz leaving thing.

Oz is my absolutely favourite character of, possibly, all time :D

And you're right, Seth, by extension has earned awesome status forever as a result. The Italian Job remake is... so-so, not as bad as the Wickerman remake but really, what is?

I haven't seen the Wikerman remake. This fact makes me happy. Still, I suggest there's worse - Waterworld, for starters.
