So, I'm updating with a webpage. I hope you understand what I go through for you.

...

Fine. So it's a safe and friendly and easy-to-use webform, and really doesn't make life much harder. But I had to go and find the link! Surely that counts for...

um...

well, here's an entry.

Life's been generally fun and happy, but hasn't been that terribly interesting, hence my lack of things that make me want to go OMGWTFEllJay. I aten't dead, but things do get rather boring at times.

There's a meme I mean to do and post, there's a couple of little things that can pad out a more fun post, and there's some other stuff I need to get back to doing, and I honestly do mean to get back to some of those. Writing, especially, what with that request for zero-gravity sex and all. And some more making of icons.

Speaking of which, I'm somewhere in the icon truth meme. Those who haven't done so yet may find it useful to look around the ones I've got sorted into my icon index so far. Go and comment.

And, if you want, stay and comment. Bonus points for utter randomness.

Trombone weasels.

Well... um... I suppose I did ask for it.

Soprano or contrabass trombone weasels?

I am too scared to participate in the Icon Truth Meme. I like my icons, and that's all that matters.

Hi, babe. How are you? I miss you!

Generally, whichever's available. They're a lot like hermit crabs that way.

I'm not, hence the link. *waits for the anonymous icon comments to... um... trickle by*

*squishysquishes* I'm alive and well and acquiring knowledges. How're you?

Panda n. (pron. eeeeeeeeee!) A large, cute black-and-white animal, commonly found in icons used by [livejournal.com profile] leila82.

This gives me an odd mental image of a startled, deafened ballistic weasel rapidly approaching the back of a concert hall.

They're a brave race; foolishly so, in most scientists' opinions. The civilian use of trombone weasels were banned in 1967, as a result of Kentucky School District 462 vs. Maine Township High School East (Chicago), in which a "friendly" face-off between orchestras in the Maine East Auditorium quickly became a battlefield.

The 32nd Weasel Battallion will always be remembered.

But they are fondly remembered. How many people these days see the shining example of the Weasleys, and can't help but feel proud of the contributions weaselkind have made to the world?

Oh, same ol' stuff, I suppose. My shoulders hurt for some odd reason. I blame this on hauling around my 30lb brother yesterday. ::nod::

From: [identity profile] active-apathy.livejournal.com
Quite possibly. That said, if you were hauling about 30lb of happy, then it may well be worth it.

I now have the mental image of weasels happily sailing to the back of the concert hall, while a rather startled and terrified Horn section drops its instruments on the ground in shock.

Fred and George are peering out from backstage, high-fiving each other and marking things down on a clipboard.

Actually, I was. He kept getting really excited, but instead of saying "Whee!" he'd say "Meee!". Imagine him running about with a ball in his hand, hiding behind trees and bushes, squealing "Meeeee!". It was amazingly cute, and not just because we're related.

C'mon, admit it. ;)

But it made hurtyDana, which, from my perspective, makes even amazing cute less amazing.

So, consider this a partial admission, to be made a proper admission when the Danaperson is hurty no more.

Now I want the weasels to have little parachutes, so they float happily down onto the seats to watch the panicky orchestra with great amusement.

They could borrow some umbrellas from some lemmings, maybe.

Hopefully I shall get a massage from the boyfriend when I get home (you know, with him being off work and all, it's pamper Dana time all the time!), and I'll let you know. :)

I should go and update with photos of it...

No worries, he takes care of me. :)

'Master, what is the difference between a humanistic, monastic system of belief in which wisdom is sought by means of an apparently nonsensical system of questiona and answers, and a lot of mystic gibberish made up on the spur of the moment?'

Glad to read about your lack of deadness - it'd make your updating really disturbing otherwise.

Heh, it makes an odd amount of sense, I must admit. How far are you at the moment?

And the rest of that quote:

Wen considered this for some time, and at last said: 'A fish!'

And Clodpool went away, satisfied.

Because randomness is fun.

That reminds me, the best bit of those ready made powder soups with croutons (you know, the ones you just add water to?) is ALWAYS the croutons.

We need to make a soup entirely out of croutons.

Powder soup would probably make for a superior tower, especially if the croutons could be used as bricks.
