Jayne...Ozymandias...holy god. I need your "Can't sentence properly" icon just to describe my reaction to that one. Could I perhaps steal the Ozymandias one? It strikes at the very core of my English-major-Browncoat soul.

I made an animated icon and it's over the kb limit. And i'm annoyed because I've seen icons with more animated text than that (cough endoftheworld icons cough) so I've probably saved it wrong or something because I don't know jack about animation.

It depends on the text and the background and a lot of other things - the endoftheworld ones, for example, have a flat black background or a still image, and the text is small and not anti-aliased, so later frames don't have to change as much.

Hmm, maybe it's the anti-aiasing... that's always confused me.

Also, my fonts are screwed up so to get size 20 I have to type in size 500. But I have a still image background...

I've done three versions of it.

The first is here, and is basically just the same composition with a slightly smaller ship.

The second is here, and is darkened and blurred to make it look more like the poster. Or, at least, more like I remember the poster without finding mine and having a look at it. :)

The third (here) has the darkening filter on it, but no blur.
