I can't draw comics, so you get this scene as faux-dialogue that may or may not be reminiscent of the tikkit incident. This may or may not be for the best.

Me: I should make an icon.
Brain: Oh, yes. We've never done that before.
Me: You know, you're not helping.
Brain: Which is fine, because you're not actually doing anything.
Me: It's the principle of the thing!
Brain: Yes. Of course. Curse my sudden but inevitable impact on your utter lack of productivity.
Me: Hence, icon.
Brain: Of what?
Me: I'm... not sure, actually.
Brain: Well, there's a flying start.
Me: What about... that thing I just watched! The one that was good.
Brain: We. We just watched.
Me: Yes, that. The thing with the bows and the thrilling heroics and the thieves, but they're not thieves, but-
Brain: Are you describing Robin Hood using bits of Firefly lines?
Me: Um...
Brain: You are, aren't you. Admit it.
Me: I wouldn't have had to if you'd just told me what it was!
Brain: A likely story. As if remembering things is my jo-
[A beat.]
Brain: Oh. Right. So, what kind of icon?
Me: Hmm. A quote icon, perhaps?
Brain: That could work. What quote?
Me: There has to be something instantly recognisable, that's useful as an icon, and that I'd get to use sometimes.
Brain: A clue: no.
Me: Well, there's no need for you to be like that about it.
Brain: A clue: no.
Me: Yes, you said that already.
Brain: Because that's the damn quote you should use! Honestly.
Me: Oh. That'd work, but how?
Brain: Must I think of everything?
Me: ...
Brain: ...
Me: ...
Brain: Let's pretend I didn't say that. So, icon.
Me: Yes.
Brain: Text-only?
Me: Perhaps, but I'd like to animate something.
Brain: Like what?
Me: Well... there's that headshake that Vasey's done once or twice.
Brain: And do you have the faintest clue where to find these mythical scenes?
Me: Um... no.
Brain: We could try YouTube?
YouTube: *makes the goggles look positively useful*
Brain: Oh.
Me: Quite.
Brain: So.
Me: Yes?
Brain: Pirate episodes?
Me: Bandwidth quota.
Brain: We try the Elite Beat Agents?
Me: They're not real.
Brain: How will we know unless we try? Testing ideas by experiment, and so forth.
Me: You're using xkcd against me?
Brain: Would you rather I rickrolled you?
Me: Would you?
Brain: Point taken. So, EBA?
Me: No.
Brain: Just try it?
Me: No.
Brain: Just this once?
Me: That's what you said the last time.
Brain: Please? For me?
Me: Fine.
Brain: Yay!
Me: HEEEEAAAALLLLP!

Since the Elite Beat Agents obviously won't be turning up, I have a bit of a request for those of you with (a) Robin Hood episodes and (b) spare time. If you could, would you kindly track down one of those scenes with Vasey shaking his head, and tell me what episode it's in and about how far through the episode it is?

If you can, in fact, help, the bounteous reward you'll get is the knowledge that you've helped. Bonus points are on offer if you can maybe dance to something while you're doing it. And if none of you can help... well, I may just have to get back to working through my backlog of icons from the icon request meme.

Are you READY? 3, 2, 1, GO!
