So! Finished Son of a Witch. I liked the last page. And a few other bits on the way through, but the last page is particularly good. I'm going to be strictly non-spoilerish as to why2. Most of it was hard to like, but I think this may have been deliberate on the part of the author.
Classes today were fun. Or fun-ish. One, in particular, had some clarifications which make for a lot less work in the assignment, and I don't have much feel like complaining about less work in the assignment. It makes my life easier, and this semester is all ungraded anyway.
