I'll fill in a bit of backstory. Last week, my parents called to ask me when I'm planning to go to see Sith. The conversation went something like this:
Me: Hello
Mother: Hello. When are you going to see star Wars?
Me: I don't actually plan to.
Mother: Why not?
Me: Look at his last two movies. Spectacular works of motion picture art, them.
Mother: Well... you're going.
Me: No I'm not.
Mother: Yes you are. I'm your mother, and if I say you're going to a movie, you're going to a movie. It's not healthy to not watch Star Wars.
And then, today, my dear, sweet mother calls again.
Mother: Hello.
Me: Hi.
Mother: Do you want to go to see Star Wars tonight?
Me: No, not really.
Mother: Well... you're going to. I said so.
Me: That's a shade expensive, don't you think? George's last two movies...
Mother: STFU n00b! w3 alr3dy g0t ur 71kk3t! *
Me: Oh, ok. Guess I'm seeing it then.
Mother: Good. Missing Star Wars is bad for you.
Somehow, I think my parents are a particularly obsessive fancouple, and they just want to take me along so that they can keep a few tattered shreds of self-respect. On the bright side, free movie.
* That never actually happened. I think I'd have died laughing if it did.
