After quite some time, I now have userinfo! Whee!

Not that it's that informative, really, but I think it's a bit nicer than a blank space where a bio or such is supposed to go. It does have pictures, though - including two fun little ones advertising a couple of comms I'm in.

Nicked from [livejournal.com profile] lesslikeyou (who's not the messiah).
  1. Total number of films I own on DVD/video:
    *goes to count* Ten.
  2. The last film I bought:
Um... they were all given to me.
  3. The last film I watched:
    • At home: RotK: EE
    • Theatre: HHGttG
  4. Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
    • Holy Grail and/or Life of Brian (Of course!)
    • Serenity (What? No-one said I had to have watched it for it to mean a lot)
    • SW: IV - VI (most watched movies ever)
    • Insomnia (Alaska looks creepy)
    • The LotR films (which, while not entirely faithful, are beautifully made)
  5. Tag 5 people and have them put this in their journal:
    Hmm... let's see.

I'll fill in a bit of backstory. Last week, my parents called to ask me when I'm planning to go to see Sith. The conversation went something like this:

Me: Hello
Mother: Hello. When are you going to see star Wars?
Me: I don't actually plan to.
Mother: Why not?
Me: Look at his last two movies. Spectacular works of motion picture art, them.
Mother: Well... you're going.
Me: No I'm not.
Mother: Yes you are. I'm your mother, and if I say you're going to a movie, you're going to a movie. It's not healthy to not watch Star Wars.

And then, today, my dear, sweet mother calls again.

Mother: Hello.
Me: Hi.
Mother: Do you want to go to see Star Wars tonight?
Me: No, not really.
Mother: Well... you're going to. I said so.
Me: That's a shade expensive, don't you think? George's last two movies...
Mother: STFU n00b! w3 alr3dy g0t ur 71kk3t! *
Me: Oh, ok. Guess I'm seeing it then.
Mother: Good. Missing Star Wars is bad for you.

Somehow, I think my parents are a particularly obsessive fancouple, and they just want to take me along so that they can keep a few tattered shreds of self-respect. On the bright side, free movie.

* That never actually happened. I think I'd have died laughing if it did.
