But first: I'm pretty sure I've replied to everyone's first guesses on the music quiz. There may be clues after a few days, if no-one seems to have any more of an idea of what the songs are.

And now, the meme, nicked from [livejournal.com profile] laurenmitchell:

Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first is the title.

Point of interest: it took Winamp twenty-three random tracks to find something with, y'know, words. Twenty-three!

Accordingly, the first poem, untitled, goes like this: .

The second poem, skipping instrumental tracks, looks rather more like this:

Birds and Butterflies

I've been having a little problem recently
Take a little walk to the edge of town
It's a little bit funny
I wish you were here
When leaves have fallen

So close, no matter how far
The daylight's fading slowly

The hand that wrote this letter
The story behind the painting
Couldn't save you from the start
Sugar splash and spread
Welcome to the jungle
These are the darkest clouds

Woke up this morning from the strangest dream
Some of my favourite colours in the world
It's a god-awful small affair
We can dance if we want to
Love come quick

She would never say where she came from
I've got a theory

...I was going to add an amusing comment here, but I'm not quite sure what Winamp is trying to say. Usually it's a bit clearer about its opinions.
