If ever you have far, far too much time on your hands, try sifting through a couple of dozen shelves of government publications and keeping track of all the changes of corporate name. After a while, "government publishing" starts to look like nothing more than a polite way of saying "the wholly disturbing lovechild of meiosis and Katamari Damacy".

(The Office of the Director of Postage Stamp Design looked smaller than us. It was just instinct.)

And for those of you who don't get Good News Week in your parts of the world, you must see this. That is all.

...Your last line and your icon have collided in very odd ways and now I have a mental image of Paul defeating GLaDOS with the power of song.

(Also, yesterday I drew HAL/GLaDOS fluff. HALP.)

Oh my! I miss GNW and this happens?

I really dislike the tone of the lyrics in the original, but the music's so damn catchy I find myself randomly humming the tune days later before I recognise the song. But the covers it's inspired have been...inspired! My favourite is the one where it's sung from the perspective of a gay guy, because it actually achieves the transgressive thing Katy Perry tried and failed to do. He kissed a girl (hope my boyfriend don't mind it!).

(ah, here it is)
