Gravity: Approx. 10m·s-2
Broken limbs: Never good.
Hospital stays: Moderately unpleasant.

So, yes. My arm was recently gravitationally discombobulated. It has since been somewhat mended, and is now healing. That is all.

Ouch! How did you manage to break your arm?

(Closer to 9.8, actually. And m / s2 (or ms-2).)

You need to come up with a more romantic story, though. Protecting a stray dog with three legs and one eye missing from a rampaging bull elephant or something.

I valiantly fell up some steps, so my story, sadly, involves fail more than romance.

Fell UP stairs?

I though you could only do that in video games where you have a slide kick or somersault maneuver...

It's aslo possible to trip forwards on staircases, which I believe (in the absence of further experimentation) breaks fewer bones.

Or, I used a secret trick that turned my Minor Fail move into an Epic Fail Finish.

Up up down down left right left right?

More like up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, down.

My late cat used to trip running up the stairs all the time. I do so as well, but less often.

No, wait, let me work on this...

Ok, here we go: you flung yourself valiantly upstairs in an effort to leper orphan dog with one eye and only three legs from a rampaging bull elephant.

Ouchies. Can I sign your cast1?

1 I thought you'd like to know that 'your cast' came out as 'our cat' the first time I typed it.

I don't actually have a proper cast yet - they've got a temporary plaster on at the moment so they can unstitch me first.

Also, yay supersuperscript question mark. :)

Good luck with your arm, and congrats on falling UP the stairs... I long ago decided to be proud of my more epic moments even if they were a little failish...

I bopped through here because I saw your "I do not allow icons" icon and couldn't stop laughing, because as much as I enjoyed some of that woman's writing... she's a crazy b****. I know. I emailed her, and she responded like a crazy b*****., so, just thought I'd share my love and knowledge. thanks for the giggles.
